Nursery/Early Years (EYFS) Teacher

County Teachers have a client school near Potton who are looking for an experienced Early Years Teacher to join their team from September 2024. This will be to work on a full-time basis, covering the Early Years PPA that the school requires. Occasionally, the candidate may be asked to cover sickness of the class teachers, and this may mean that Key Stage 1 cover will be required. The school have asked us to highlight this to any prospective candidates as ideally, knowledge of both stages would be preferable. However, this is not a necessity. The school however, do require:

• Candidates who are flexibly and happy to think on their feet, sometimes in challenging situations
• Somebody with the desire to maintain standards throughout the school
• Relationships to be built and maintained, throughout any staff members time there
• A candidate who is able to partake in extra-curricular activities that will benefit the school community

The school feels that this is a desirable position for candidates, due to the fact that there is very little preparation needed as most work will be provided by the class teachers. Due to this, the school will not be offering any PPA time and they will not be extending this opportunity to newly qualified teachers.
