Keystage 2 (KS2) Teacher

Our client school in the heart of Leighton Buzzard is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher for their class of 21 year 5 pupils. This post will be a maternity cover position, initially for two terms. They are happy to accept applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs. It is their Literacy subject leader who is leaving them temporarily therefore they are also able to offer to the right candidate (with prior experience of leading a core subject) a TLR 2a to take on the role of Literacy subject leader.

You will be well supported in your role and there will be opportunities for Continual Professional Development. The children are highly enthusiastic and keen to be in school. The parents and governors are supportive and the school values the links made with parents and the local community. It is a one-form entry Primary School. It is well resourced with IWB in all classrooms and a soundfield system in the hall. The children have access to large and well-maintained grounds, which include a range of play equipment and a wildlife area.
