Keystage 1 (KS1) Teacher

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Class Teacher to begin work at a school located in Royston from September 2024. The school are looking for somebody to work on a full-time basis, covering a variety of KS1 classes throughout the week. It could be possible that the school may call upon the successful candidate for the occasional periods in KS2, so ideally, they are looking for a teacher who has had experience with both year groups. This is not a necessity, if the candidate is able to display willingness and drive, then the school are happy to accept this.

Due to the nature of this position, the school are looking to appoint an experienced teacher, as opposed to somebody who is newly qualified.

The school itself are currently undergoing expansion so will be boasting new facilities when the New Year comes. Because of this expansion, it may be that a permanent role can be offered at the end of the initial temporary contract, so any candidate looking for longevity in a role should not be dissuaded from applying.
