A client school based in Stevenage are seeking a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team, on a permanent basis, from April 2025. The school is based on the outskirts of Stevenage with great transport links from both the A1M and the A602. This would be to work in a Year 2 class and due to the nature of this position, applications from NQTS, may not accepted.
The school aim to inspire their pupils on a daily basis and need a lively practitioner who can plan creative lessons and deliver them in an exciting and engaging manner. They pride themselves on their ability to practice this creative learning and allowing children to flourish.
The position is due to start in April 2025 and the candidate will be required to work in a full-time basis, with half a day allotted each week for PPA time. Uniquely, the school allow staff members to take this PPA time, either in school, or at home.
Although the position is temporary, the school are in need of somebody committed and willing to take on some behavioural issues in class. The pupils themselves are bright and happy to learn, but there are some additional needs in there that will need focusing on. More information regarding this can be discussed at interview.
