Biology Teacher - North Buckinghamshire - April 2025
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational teacher with ambition and drive to contribute to the teaching and learning of Biology. The position in question is within the science faculty of this co-educational school that has high numbers of students studying sciences at A’level. The post is on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave.
The school has been awarded Specialist Status in science and the science faculty is well-resourced. A large proportion of their A’level Scientists go on to study science degree courses, with some successful Oxbridge applicants each year. The majority of students take three separate sciences at GCSE.
The school has a culture of academic excellence with a reputation for developing well rounded, confident, articulate young people. They have a rich extra-curricular programme and all members of staff contribute to a rolling programme of continuous improvement in all areas of school life.
